About the role:
This role operates within the company’s Global Business Services organization to provide high quality accountancy and service to BSCI clients within Boston Scientific Corporation. This role performs a variety of medium duties in payroll and general accounting such as such as analyzing accounts, booking necessary journal entries, preparing reports, managing software interfaces and performing the monthly financial close and payroll month end close processes. This role measures performance against key performance indicators and metrics, and continually identifies ways to improve and streamline processes.

You're Responsabilities include:

• May execute the following resposibilities:

• Performs month-end close process and acts as liaison with several supported sites

• Compiles and analyzes capital in progress financial information through preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.

• Assures financial accuracy for all supported sites and supports all legal entity closings on a monthly basis

• Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.

• Builds and maintains relationships throughout the organization

• Establishes and communicates accounting processes by maintaining a thorough understanding of GAAP and new accounting guidance as appropriate.

• Partners with E&Y and SOX management team to fulfill audit requests

• Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners and management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years’ relevant experience
• SAP Experience a plus
• Fixed Asset and CIP experience a plus.
• Open to working across global time zone
• Strong communication skills
• English Level +95%
• Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working in shared service environment preferred
