British American Tobacco Costa Rica has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Senior Analyst in Heredia
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitor & analyze actuals. Review & analyze accruals, reclassifications, & other adjustments, ensuring accuracy & proper accounting treatment. Conduct a thorough analysis of variances between actual expenses and forecasted expenditure, providing well-substantiated justifications for deviations. Identify potential improvements within both the expense recording process and the forecasting methodology.
- Perform a comprehensive analysis of variances between monthly forecasts to identify and explain deviations. Develop clear and concise commentary to substantiate requested budget adjustments.
- In charge of inventory adjustments and related sox controls.
- Reports done on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as ad-hoc requests.
- Leverage collaborative efforts to collect essential information and data, enabling the development of a holistic monthly forecast analysis. Subsequently, integrate the final figures into the reporting system.
- Serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders, providing them with insightful and timely financial information tailored to their needs.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience in multinational organizations with not less than 3 years of relevant working experience. Desirable demonstrated experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budget Management, or Planning & Reporting. Previous experience collaborating with US-based clients/stakeholders would be an advantage.
- Proficient English level, verbal, and writing (B2+).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook).
- Desirable knowledge of BPC-SAP Systems.
