Position Title: HR Operations Specialist
Location: Remote position, with occasional in-person visits to our office in Tres Ríos.
Candidates must be based in Costa Rica.

Position Overview
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the entire employee journey, from hire to retirement, by providing essential human resource administration and support. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with various HR teams and centers of excellence, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and seamless HR operations. Your contributions will be key in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes while supporting employee inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely completion of HR Shared Services and HR Systems tickets in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Safeguard data integrity within HR systems by conducting regular audits, identifying issues, and implementing corrections.
  • Lead the initiation and review of key HCM business processes, including creating offer letters and tracking changes in Workday to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Execute and support organizational changes and restructures within Workday, collaborating with HR Business Partners and business leaders to resolve process-related queries.
  • Oversee the pre-employment screening process, ensuring timely completion and escalating issues with vendors when necessary.
  • Administer relocation programs, tuition reimbursement, and other fringe benefits as assigned, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Act as a key liaison for HR purchase requisitions and purchase order issuance in SAP, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Participate in Workday testing for process updates and support bi-annual system releases.
  • Support acquisition-related HR activities, including mass new hire processing and aligning new workflows with existing company processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, scripting solutions, and updating documentation such as SOPs, FAQs, and process maps to enhance team efficiency.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Technical Degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an HR service center or similar HR support environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with Workday and case management systems.
  • Previous experience in handling customer inquiries is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in Portuguese is an added advantage.
