British American Tobacco Costa Rica has an exciting opportunity for a Tactical Procurement Assistant Manager in Heredia
This role will lead the Costa Rica Tactical Procurement Team in the end-to-end process of tactical negotiations across the Latam North & Caribbean, Latam South (except Brazil) and Canada regions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Execute Tactical Sourcing Events according with the Procurement Policy.
- Review the demand from the stakeholders across the different markets and distribute the equitably according to individual target.
- Manage weekly review of Key KPI’s like spend, saving, cost avoidance, SLAs.
- Ensure adherence of the company’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of all sourcing activities and support internal or external audit.
- Manage the performance and development of Tactical Procurement Team, including coaching, performance management, training objective setting and development plans,
- Ensure leadership support towards sourcing initiatives and partner trough value added contribution.
- Any other task or project assigned by the Line Manager within the sourcing process.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, industrial engineering, international trade or related area
- 2+ years’ experience in Procurement, including Coupa management.
- Leadership experience with direct reports.
- Fluent English (Advanced).
- Analytical, Time Management, Problem solving and Negotiation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships working across geographic boundaries.
- Power BI proficiency (nice to have).
