• Supervising the proper functioning and optimal appearance of production equipment.
• Performing the necessary preventive maintenance to ensure the equipment is always in proper operational condition and in a timely manner.
• Carrying out corrective maintenance in a timely manner.
• Providing technical support to area operators.
• Following the established Quality System procedures, including but not limited to: training, regulatory audits, documentation of maintenance activities, etc.
• Following the established instructions and procedures to perform maintenance.
• Using and promoting the use of necessary safety equipment.
• Tracking documentation of non-productive hours due to equipment malfunction.
• Supporting the continuous improvement process of Maintenance procedures.
• Applying root cause analysis to non-productive hours due to equipment malfunction and proper documentation to support the continuous improvement process.
• Supporting engineering activities related to product/process transfers between BSCI facilities.
• Providing support in aspects related to the installation, validation, and operation of equipment and/or production processes.
• Supervising the physical condition of the equipment (paint, nuts, and bolts, etc.).
• Ensuring the correct use of area equipment by operators.
• Generating lists of critical parts needed for each piece of equipment.
• Promoting and/or supporting waste or spare parts reduction initiatives to optimize their use.
• Pursuing and/or participating in potential improvements or changes to enhance equipment use.
• Supervising the proper use and condition of tools, as well as the use of equipment.
• Keeping work areas, as well as the workshop, organized and clean at all times.

• Completed High School Diploma. Essential*
• Technical education in electromechanics, electronics, electrotechnics, electricity, or 50% progress in related university degrees.
• English level from 40% to 70%. Essential*
• 4 years of experience in technical positions related to the job.
• Availability to work in Shift A (Monday to friday 6:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m)

• Knowledge in corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Knowledge in tools like Windchill, SAP, and BMRAM.
• Knowledge in Office package.
• Experience in electrical control.
• Knowledge in PLC.
