Your role

• Process transactions – daily recording of incoming cash receipts (3rd party customers and intercompany) into Oracle accurately and on time in accordance with agreed KPI.
• Ensure queries (missing payments, advanced payments, proforma payments, credit balances, unallocated cash etc.) received are responded, investigated and resolved accurately and in timely and professional manner.
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts related to cash allocation tasks.
• Reconciliation of credit card receivables and reviewing problematic credit card transactions.
• Ensure 3rd party debtors are proactively chased and pay within agreed payment terms to maintain overdue debt and DSO within agreed target levels. Monitor payment performance of customers and escalate immediately where appropriate.
• Daily review of credit holds and disputes and follow up with customers
• Issue copy invoices/credit notes and account statements as required
• Monthly closing activities and reporting followed by given timetables
• Management of customer related systems to ensure up to date information
• Follows instructions given by superior
