We're hiring a Data QA Automation Engineer to join our Data Products team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector. This role would be perfect for someone who likes to decipher complicated data structures while innovating solutions to automate the testing approach.

What You Will Do:

Validate the latest changes to data sets based on acceptance criteria from Product Owners and Development SMEs.
Eager to learn new skills and grow professionally
Ability to think outside the box, question conventional approaches, and innovate
Log issues when software does not function as expected
Review and evaluate existing manual test cases as candidates for automation, and automate them in a timely manner
Create and modify automated test cases for software products, with guidance from more senior team members
Review feature requirements and provide feedback to the team
Complete well-defined tasks in a reasonable timeframe
Seek out the information needed to understand the "why" of a particular task
Write maintainable, efficient code for automated tests
Works with team to resolve identified issues

Work as part of a cross-functional team(dev, QA, product, data science, SRE)
Know when to ask for help when they are blocked
Complete well-defined tasks in a high-quality manner.
Able to work independently
May be involved with interviewing other QA candidates

What You Should Have:

Experience with testing RDBMS
Solid SQL experience
Familiar with Python experience
Experience testing REST API
Experience with AWS (s3) and/or other cloud service providers
Experience with Agile methodologies
Ability to investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems and independently work towards results
Professionalism includes mature written and verbal communication and time management skills.
Databricks experience is a plus
Experience with Azure Data Lake is a plus
