What is the purpose of the job?

• The Global Indirect Category Manager will be responsible for the developing and executing of procurement strategy for assigned category or categories.
  

• Working as a core member of our Global Indirect Procurement team the Global Indirect Category Manager will take an ownership of driving and aligning strategy with all entities and internal stakeholders, negotiating agreements, leveraging spend, executing spend and supplier’s optimization projects, standardizing processes, and establishing supplier development process which will enable to achieve our strategic and financial goals.
  
  

What will you do?

• Provide leadership in defining and implementing the global strategy for assigned category or categories in line with the global procurement team strategy and internal stakeholders. Will deliver the lowest total cost of ownership for products or services, while improving value and service quality
  

• Develop a pipeline of improvement projects, based on spend analysis and market research, which are fully aligned with the category strategy and criticality to the business
  

• Drive standardization and work closely with internal legal team to build standard contractual templates’ repository
  

• Lead global/divisional and support regional/local tenders & sourcing projects
  

• Ensure that the end-to-end procurement process is run in the most efficient way and be accountable for contract finalization and related timeline
  

• Act as the single point of contact in providing expert leadership for assigned category
  

• Understand the best practices in the procurement function and incorporate them into the category strategy. Implement a strategic supplier management program and optimize the number of non-strategic suppliers
  
  

What do you need for this role?

• Relevant previous procurement experience, cost analysis and supply market intelligence
  

• Experience with IT Category is advantage
  

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills across all levels of an organization, both internally and with suppliers Full fluency in English written and spoken
  

• Willingness to travel as when the business conditions and strategies require
