Are you a dynamic HR leader ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, multinational environment? Covetrus is seeking an exceptional Director of Human Resources for our Central Eastern Europe (CEE) region. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our people strategy across Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia, supporting nearly 700 employees.

The Role

Leadership & Development: Coach and manage a talented HR team, ensuring the delivery of agile and efficient HR services across our regional business units.

Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to regional and country-level business leaders, aligning organisational and people capabilities with our business strategy.

HR Strategy & Operations: Lead HR initiatives including organizational design, change management, and talent development to drive a culture of success and employee engagement.

Employee Programs: Execute key HR processes such as hiring, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion.

Data-Driven Insights: Utilise data and metrics to identify business needs, drive solutions, and measure impact.

Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global HR policies, maintaining high-quality people policies and practices.
You

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a multinational environment leading HR across multiple countries.

Leadership: Proven experience in managing HR teams and building high-performance HR business partner teams.

HR Expertise: Broad knowledge in organizational development, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, and workforce management.

Tools & Systems: Proficiency with Work Day and experience implementing HR shared service principles.

Skills & Competencies: High accountability, strong influence skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Language: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Education: Professional HR qualifications preferred.

This role can be based in one of our Central Eastern European locations including, Czech, Poland or Romania. This is a hybrid role with visits to office locations in the region.
