As a Trade Marketing Executive reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will drive sales performance across Eastern Europe through innovative trade marketing strategies. Your focus will be on expanding market share by collaborating with key retail partners. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting Bugaboo’s mission to become the most desired, talked about, and recommended premium parenting brand.

What will you do
  • Work with the Head of Marketing GTM and Trade team to define the overall strategy for your region taking into consideration overall EMEA cluster objectives, brand guidelines and local market requirements.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the marketing calendar for all markets across East Europe, including but not limited to Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia and Poland.
  • Develop and execute collaborative and bespoke marketing plans with select retailers in the region.
  • Work closely with sales team and account managers to ensure marketing investment and activity supports commercial objectives, drives sales performance and ROI.
  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners, leveraging their marketing channels and reach to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Understand the current and future consumers for your region, ensuring this knowledge feeds into marketing plans. Using insight and data available to develop marketing comms that shape brand perception as required.
  • Act as brand guardian for the region, liaising with the GTM team and regional marketing managers to ensure aligned, on-brand representation through all retail partner channels – including in store, online and social media.
  • Work closely with the Trade team on shop in shop executions in your region.
  • Explore opportunities for co-op brand exposure through key partnerships, relevant media, PR and influencer channels to boost awareness though strategic win-win initiatives.
  • Organize marketing events for East Europe as required.
  • Feed into the EMEA cluster marketing calendar and campaign marketing plans.
  • Briefing in creative asset requirements to the Go To Market team.
  • Support with copy writing, translations and proof reading local languages as required.
  • Supply marketing materials to distributors, as required.
  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget for the region, forecasting spend, raising PO’s for Marketing expenditures and maintaining budget trackers.
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly marketing performance reporting for East Europe.
  • Ad-hoc support to the Go To Market team as required.
What you will bring to the table
The ideal candidate will possess a marketing degree and have at least 5 years of marketing experience. More importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right mindset—someone who is adaptable, driven, and eager to succeed. A solid background in all marketing disciplines and a deep understanding of the Eastern European consumer is crucial. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, and fluency in both English and Czech is required.
You should be commercially minded, with a passion for forging impactful partnerships with retailers, brand partners, and suppliers. As a strong team player, you will excel in communication and organization, with a sharp eye for detail. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to market changes are also key attributes for success in this role.
