We are looking for a Business Analyst that is ready to play a significant part in SELECTED’s Sales department.
YOUR TEAM
You will be part of SELECTED’s sales department consisting of more than 40 colleagues at our headquarters in Brande, Denmark. You support colleagues across the entire department – be it our back-office colleagues in relation automating working processes, analysing sell-out tendencies for the Express team, supporting the Essentials team in their buying processes and sales initiative, or performing analyses of our collections.
YOUR JOB
As Business Analyst in our sales department, you have a continuous focus on optimizing the sales business through tool development and analysis. Your primary responsibility is to understand and improve data and KPIs for reporting as well as developing optimization and reporting tools to measure business performance and processes.
More specifically, your responsibilities include:
You have an analytical mindset and technical know-how with a hint of creativity, enabling you to develop new and smarter solutions. You are structured and detail-oriented, and you establish a natural credibility to your function by consistently delivering high quality in your work.
You excel when it comes to using data to convey your message - and use your strong communication skills to make you insights count in our large sales organisation. You are motivated by working with targets and deadlines, and you act with flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are either a recent graduate from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within business, finance or IT with a business focus, or you have a few years of experience. In addition, we are looking for the following:

- Developing and maintaining data and reporting tools, mainly in Excel and Power BI
- Identifying areas and tools that help increase efficiency and automation of processes
- Setting up and maintaining automated data processes
- Gathering, understanding and documenting detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
- Preparing material and analyses for data analytics
- Training the business in using and understanding reporting tools
- Data validation
- Ensuring knowledge sharing across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS
You are either a recent graduate from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within business, finance or IT with a business focus, or you have a few years of experience. In addition, we are looking for the following:
- Excellent skills in Excel
- Knowledge in SQL is an advantage, but not a requirement - in the job, there is room to learn and develop skills within Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, Python, VBA and other programming languages and data understanding
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
