Position: Business development manager
Location: Gentofte (Denmark)
Working hours per week: Fulltime 37 hours per week

As a Business development manager, you will be responsible for expanding our business by finding and developing new business opportunities. You will find suitable (empty buildings) from a variety of sources. Your goal is to generate inquiries and leads from scratch, inbound inquires and existing contact networks.

What can you expect?

You recognise commercial opportunities to give mid & long-term vacant property a new lease of life, all while keeping a social and commercial component in mind. You will advise prospects on solutions that we offer to generate (new) business and optimise the management of vacant properties.

In this role you will be travelling to many diverse locations, to talk to prospects and to build your network. You will do this through active acquisition and by making effective use of sales tools (sales navigator, salesforce), databases, specialised magazine articles, national and regional real estate meetings and platforms. In short, your focus is on creating opportunities with new and existing relations. Parties that you will be working with are Local authorities, housing associations, property developers and commercial property owners.
Other tasks are administrating efficiently in-the-cloud and register your (commercial) activities in CRM systems such as Sales Force.

You are part of the European Monoma Sales Team, and your supervisor is Bob de Vilder, International business development director. You will have regular sales meetings via Teams or at our office location in Gentofte, where you will work side by side with Torben Pretzmann, also our business development manager. In this role it is possible to combine working at the office and working from home.



What do you bring?

With your knowledge and expertise in real estate, you are fully committed to this independent position. You work proactively, hands on and thus know how to trigger the right customers.
You have the following skills and competences:

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable success in a similar job position;
  • It is essential that you are capable to perform the job independently;
  • A Bachelor real estate education is a plus; but a proven track-record also counts!;
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills (communication, active listening);
  • Result-oriented and strategically strong minded (not afraid of taking risks);
  • Maintain a global overview of your objectives and can set the right priorities;
  • Ability to work digitally and have a good command of Microsoft Office tools;
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal;
  • In possession of a driver’s license B and willing to travel through Denmark;
  • Able to become our new colleague as soon as possible.
