The world rapidly needs to electrify to replace fossil fuels on a massive scale. The hard-to-abate sectors like shipping, aviation and heavy land transport cannot be electrified with battery power and require a different type of electrification: Electrofuel made from renewable electricity and biogenic CO2.
Our business model is designed for scale, and we have a solid pipeline of projects in development in the Nordic countries with the goal of reaching Final Investment Decision (FID) for reaching more than 10 projects by 2027. We have a strong group of investors, including Alfa Laval, Carbon Clean, Elyse Energy, Hy Cap, Siemens Energy, Topsoe and Uniper.
Liquid Wind is a fast-growing company, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and with a presence in Denmark, Finland and the UK. We have approx. 63 employees and are looking for a person that enjoys developing and growing together with the company.
The location for this position is Denmark or Sweden. Some travel will be required within the role.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Grant Funding Manager who is passionate about driving our mission forward by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring national and international funding opportunities. In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in preparing and submitting grant proposals and tax incentives applications at regional, national, and European levels, ensuring our projects secure the financial support they need to succeed.

• Manage ongoing projects including communicating technical reporting to funding agencies
• Drive knowledge-sharing and lessons learnt (internally and externally) and activities that increase competence for proposal writing and fundraising
• Develop and uphold project portfolio management processes for proposals, grants and projects
• Develop and maintain intelligence on funders' terms and conditions

You will be reporting to the Chief Investment Officer located in Copenhagen.

About you

You are a person with strong modeling, structuring, and technical skills, combined with an analytical mind capable of digesting sophisticated problems, projects, structures, and ideas. You have a solid understanding of the grants landscape at European, national, and regional levels and a good understanding of national and international innovation systems and frameworks, preferably at the EU level. You are a strong communicator and real team player, able to ally and collaborate across the organization, gain the support of all kinds of stakeholders and establish and maintain interpersonal relations.

• Relevant master’s degree in business or economics, human and social sciences, communication management or technical science
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in national and international funded projects
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills and able to navigate with ambiguous and complex issues
• Have strong collaboration and networking skills

The company language is English, and preferably you understand and speak a Scandinavian language.
