Head of Sales – Europe, Middle East & Asia

The airline industry is rapidly changing, and SAS is working hard to transform itself for its customers’ future needs. SAS is now looking for a highly motivated and analytical leader to head our Europe & Asia teams.


As a Sales Leader in SAS you will be at the forefront of that journey. Inspiring your team of dedicated sales professionals to drive our revenue performance & profitability in the in-direct channel. Building and executing go-to-market plans and being the SAS Ambassador in your territories driving customer preference for SAS by building strong relationships within the travel industry

Challenges you will work on:
  • Building the brand and reputation of SAS outside Scandinavia to drive profitable results.
  • Enhance data literacy & use data first approach to design and continuously develop sales value proposition for your markets.
As a Sales leader at SAS you will:
  • Lead, motivate, coach & inspire a team of dedicated SAS Sales professionals.
  • Be action focused & agile driving improved revenue performance & display a hunger for exceeding targets across your geography.
  • Foster a culture of transformation and innovation within the sales team and wider organization, aiding the overall business restructuring process.
  • Be an ambassador for SAS & a voice for the customer within SAS– thought-leading the transformation of SAS into a customer centric organization through sharing of market insight & intelligence.
  • Build ambitious go-to-market plans with your team that are executed effectively to grow the SAS Share of Wallet in all segments.
  • Be data obsessed to improve the organization data literacy and focused on optimizing our total Cost of Sale.
  • Act as chief coach to drive continuous improvement and adoption of our sales tools.


To be successful, we believe you should have:
  • A complete sales toolbox: Proven track record of developing people and delivering results in a sales organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to think outside the box, fail fast and challenge the team through innovation.
  • Experience from working across countries and internationally.
  • Strong self-awareness with the ability to coach and be coached effectively.
  • Be curious, externally aware and hungry for knowledge.


You will be reporting to our VP Global Sales and for this position we are looking to hire to one of our offices in either Denmark or Sweden.
