We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Denmark and ensure further development and integration of all aspects of our health and safety practices.

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Denmark and ensure further development and integration of all aspects of our health and safety practices.

Daily, you will:
- Develop and maintain the H&S Management System per ISO 45001 and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and promote programs and campaigns to enhance the management system and integrate it throughout the organization.
- Advocate a positive safety culture focused on learning rather than blame.
- Investigate and address incidents, turning them into learning opportunities while maintaining safety performance.
- Align with COWI International's initiatives and develop programs to ensure safety at operational sites.
- Organize and assess H&S drills

On top of that, you will have:
- 5 years of work experience in a similar role in a large-size company.
- Experience with risk-based operations and balancing “work as described” with “work as is.”
- Knowledge of H&S legislation and experience with ISO 45001, including change management.
- Ability to work across borders, share knowledge, and build positive relationships and experience navigating a large, matrix-structured organization.
- Comprehensive communication skills for interacting with management, project managers, and colleagues.
- Excellent English skills oral and written
- Broad experience in on-site or field engineering, training, and introductions with deep experience with ISO standards and their implementation.
