Your challenges

As a student assistant, you will have the opportunity to put your knowledge into practice, while building an indispensable network of skilled colleagues throughout the HR organisation in VELUX. We are looking for a student assistant who will assist us support the Products & Innovation organisation with a variety of HR related tasks of both administrative and developmental kind.

You will join our skillful team in Global People & Organisation (P&O) and have colleagues all around the world. You will be reporting directly to the Director, HR Partnering Products & Innovation and can be located either at our head quarter office in Hørsholm or in Østbirk, close to Horsens in Denmark.

Your responsibilities:

Assist the team of HR Business Partners in various ad-hoc tasks related to our global HR processes, such as People Review, Annual Dialogues, Position reviews etc.

Support on various HR administrative tasks using our HR system (Workday).

Data Management: Assist with data entry, analysis, and reporting to support HR initiatives.

Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, making reports.

Support various employee engagement and employer branding activities.

Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Your qualifications

You are a motivated person that rapidly get acquainted with new tasks as well as working methods and you have a proactive approach to task solving. You take responsibility for your own tasks and work individually in a structured way. Being curious you are ready to think differently and contribute with fresh ideas.

Moreover, we expect that you:

Are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree within human resources, organisation & strategy, business psychology, communication or other HR and communication-related educations.

That you are skilled in the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly in Excel, Power Point, Teams, and Outlook.

Are fluent in written and spoken English.

Have an open and service oriented mindset.

Are keen on working in an international environment.

You will preferably be employed for 15 hours per week. The scheduling of the working hours is flexible and will be adjusted according to your study program and exam periods. We offer you flexibility and opportunities to also work remotely.
