Senior Test Manager for QA Engagements

An exciting opportunity awaits you in the Developer Experience Tribe at Danske Bank. As we are increasingly enhancing our quality assurance (QA) efforts, we are on the lookout for a dedicated, outgoing Test Manager to be part of this transformative journey.
The Developer Experience Tribe offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the productivity and satisfaction of developers at Danske Bank.
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager/ Quality Assurance SME to join our organization. Your tasks will be centred around coaching, teaching/training, educating, and supporting, thereby maturing the IT organisation with regards to quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also participate in developing guides, teaching material and other material to support the organization’s maturity within quality assurance.
This role is not about hands-on test management, technical set-up or execution of test but a golden opportunity for a person who can effectively manage processes as well as guiding and enabling others on the path of quality assurance. Equally, this is not a Leader/ HR Manager role, but a key product delivery position that plays a significant role in shaping the future of software development within the organisation. – This together with a creative and forward-thinking team.
What will you be doing?
Armed with a comprehensive understanding of QA processes and phases, you will collaborate with a diverse set of individuals to shape the very tools, resources, and processes that will empower developers to innovate and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Implement the QA processes and requirements that align with the organization’s goals and priorities.
Maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across all software development projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA activities into the development lifecycle.
Maintain and promote quality standards, guidelines, and methodologies for testing activities.
Support and educate the organization in obtaining and optimizing knowledge and skills within QA practices and processes.
Continuously improve QA practices by adopting industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Team and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
We imagine you have proven experience as a QA/Test Manager or similar role, especially in an Agile software development environment. You are certified in software quality assurance ISTQB foundation level, or in-depth knowledge about the ISTQB standards and QA terms.
Furthermore you bring;

In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes in an agile development lifecycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams as well as speaking and teaching in front of a bigger crowd.
Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Upper-Intermediate English skills.

The location of the position is in Denmark, which implies that you must be physically located in Denmark.
