Familiarity with MPAC systems, usually operating in the range of 150–1,200 psi (10–80 bar), and their application in systems like pneumatic actuators, engine starting systems, and power tools aboard vessels.
-
Working experience with LPAC systems, typically operating at 100–150 psi (7–10 bar), for systems like HVAC controls, cleaning systems, and general air distribution on ships or industrial facilities.
-
Working knowledge of air dryer systems and filters used with LPAC systems to prevent moisture or contamination in sensitive equipment.
-
Working knowledge of industry standards related to air compressors, such as ISO 8573 (Compressed Air Quality), ISO 1217 (Air Compressor Testing), and marine-specific regulations like ABS and DNV-GL.
