Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Dubai, invygo aims at simplifying the process of getting a car. With the success of our expansion to Saudi Arabia in 2021 and in Qatar in 2023, we have continued to grow our operations.
Being the first car subscription app of its kind in the region, we have a proven track record and an in-depth understanding of our customers' mobility needs.
Our app enables customers to own or subscribe to a car on a monthly basis without any hassle. Customers can commit for a minimum of 1 month with our monthly plans or 36 months with our Subscribe to Own service.
invygo's car subscription service is different from renting or buying a car. We offer the best of both worlds. Unlike renting, we don't require our customers to make a large deposit upfront. They can also choose the exact car model and features they want through our app, a benefit that rental companies don't offer. Buying a car comes with high up-front and maintenance costs, long-term commitment, registration and insurance charges. With invygo's Subscribe to Own plans, our customers pay an all-inclusive fee monthly without the additional paperwork and cost.
At invygo, we empower our customers to access a car with no deposit or down payment, no long-term commitment, and the option to cancel their monthly subscription plans at any time through our seamless digital platform.

As the Director of People/Head of People, you will be responsible for building and scaling the People function at our growing startup, overseeing HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and talent development across our three offices. Based in Egypt, this role will be critical in shaping our culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring that the People function aligns with the company’s strategic goals. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can build and grow the People team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements
1. People Strategy:
  • Develop and implement the company’s People strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Lead all People-related initiatives including talent acquisition, employee experience, performance management, and retention.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment between people goals and the company’s growth strategy.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
  • Lead and manage the recruitment function to attract top talent, building a strong employer brand locally and internationally.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Design strategies to source, recruit, and onboard a diverse, high-performing workforce.
3. People Operations:
  • Manage HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, compliance with local labor laws, and HR systems.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and ensure they are communicated and implemented effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy and data integrity in HR systems, providing regular HR metrics and reports to the leadership team.
4. Employee Engagement & Experience:
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, promoting a positive work environment and fostering strong employee relationships.
  • Design and implement strategies to improve retention, well-being, and employee satisfaction.
  • Promote and nurture a strong company culture aligned with the company’s values and mission.
5. Performance & Development:
  • Oversee the performance management process, including feedback, reviews, and development plans.
  • Implement professional development programs to promote career growth.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives.
6. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the People team, including HR business partners, recruitment specialists, and operations staff.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to support them in managing their teams’ people-related needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably within a startup or high-growth company.
  • Proven experience building and leading People teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, recruitment, and employee engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work closely with leadership.
  • Experience working across multiple offices or international environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
