As we expand our team and enhance our operations, we are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to build our Human Resources department from the ground up. Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and strategic HR Generalist who will be instrumental in establishing and leading the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop HR Policies and Procedures: Create, implement, and update HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and align with our company values and goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process to ensure a great fit for our team and culture. Also, identifying talents within the organization.
- Onboarding and Training: Design and implement an effective onboarding program for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company and a comprehensive understanding of their role.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
- Performance Management: Develop and manage performance review processes, including setting key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting evaluations, and implementing improvement plans as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all employment laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and managing workplace safety initiatives.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll and benefits administration, including developing competitive compensation packages and managing employee benefits programs.
- HR Strategy: Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Culture and Engagement: Develop programs and initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that supports employee retention and satisfaction.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
