About the role

We’re now looking for a Head of Financial Control, reporting directly to the CFO, to oversee of all aspects of financial control, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of effective internal controls!
Your key responsibilities include:

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of timely financial reporting and financial statements of all Nordhealth legal entities.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in Norway (NGAAP) and in the future under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Lead the coordination and completion of annual audits and quarterly reviews.

Develop, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Develop and maintain group accounting policies and instructions.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulatory requirements of all Nordhealth legal entities, including tax filings and statutory reporting.

Lead the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Manage the implementation of new financial software and tools as needed.

Lead, mentor, and develop the financial control team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and setting objectives for team members.
What will help you to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you have experience in managerial positions, working in fast growing, multinational Saa S or retail companies with a high volume of revenue transactions. Maybe you’ve also held high-level finance control related positions in companies from the Big-4?
In addition, our humble wishlist would be that you have:

10+ years of working experience in financial control
-
B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or related field; M.Sc or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred

IFRS
-
Strong IT skills (excel, financial tools, reporting); experience with Net Suite is a core requirement

Process-minded
-
Hands on mentality
-
Strong leadership skills and communication skills
-
Willingness to travel
-
Fluency in Finnish and in English
