In this role you will be part of a team responsible for VR financial services, including accounting, reporting and analysis. You will focus on to support investment life cycle in VR-Group including investment planning and approval guidance, accounting and reporting. You can also be responsible of named legal entity accounting and reporting, and/or controlling tasks for a named business or entity.

Main responsibilities include:

• Supports investment project managers in both planning and approval process for investments as well as in investment system information updates
• Provide technical accounting knowledge, data understanding, controlling perspective of SAP Asset Accounting and investment follow-up tools.
• Pro-actively develop, document and propose process improvements in the area of Investment life-cycle management.
• Represents finance and controlling in investment life-cycle related projects.
• Responsible of monthly and yearly closings, preparation of financial statements and tax filings for named entity(s)
• Provide technical FAS and IFRS accounting support to finance colleagues and business stakeholders
• Support in establishment of business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls and support the development of controls across VR group
• Be part of automation and improve VR Group financial reporting and related processes
• Support pears, management and other stakeholders in various financial topics
• Tackle ad-hoc tasks with agility

You have

• B. Sc. or M.Sc. in Finance/Accounting/Economics
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English, Swedish is an advantage
• Experience from accounting and financial reporting including development of related processes
• Experience on finance process development
• Agile and development oriented mindset
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Pro-active approach and solution-oriented ways of working
• Good team player spirit but you are capable of working also alone
