We are seeking an Lead Frontend Developer that has a deep understanding of React, Type Script and Graph QL and is ready to take on a larger responsibility for the overall frontend architecture of our suite of forest management tools.


Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design: Drive the necessary architecture changes so that our frontend stays flexible and can serve multiple target groups, while ensuring that common components are used effectively across all modules.
• Collaboration: Collaborate and mentor our existing frontend developers and work closely with our backend developers to ensure that you are aligned regarding API patterns etc. You will also work closely with our UX designer to ensure that our plans for new features are technically feasible.
• Customer Projects: While we do not develop bespoke solutions, you are expected to interact with our key customers when planning new features.
• Remote Work: Be part of a virtual team with members across Finland and abroad, with options for part- or full-time remote work. However, to ensure smooth cooperation within the team we expect you to be based in Finland.

Qualifications
The person we are looking for has:

• Several years of experience working in a leading role as a frontend developer
• Strong skills in React, Type Script and Graph QL.
• Experience working with forest management systems, GIS systems or any type of spatial data is a plus.
• Ability to mentor other frontend developers and drive change in both architecture as well as ways of working.
• Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are considered as a bonus
