A hydraulic hammer harnesses the oil flow produced by the excavator’s hydraulic system and converts it into mechanical impacts to break whatever the operator desires, primarily rock materials and concrete for construction industry needs. The design and manufacturing of hydraulic hammers challenges several technical specialists and offers endless possibilities for professional development. Our product development department utilizes modern methods such as hydraulic-mechanical system simulation, fluid flow simulation, and FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
We are looking for a product development engineer to join the engineering team in the product development organization to work on mechanical solutions.
Your role
You will work in the R&D department as part of a dedicated engineering team. We have diverse range of tasks, and your job description will be formed based on your previous experience and expertise. Your work possibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working in Rn D projects (new product and research) and current product engineering
- Initiating new ideas, designing novel solutions and seeing them come to life as prototypes.
- developing our engineering tools and processes
Your background
From educational background you have a suitable technical training (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). You have at least two years of experience in mechanical engineering and product development. You need to have proficiency in 3D modeling and technical drawing.
Good interpersonal and communication skills support in this role, as you will be working with experts from different engineering areas and stakeholders. Innovative thinking, Initiative and active work approach with good teamwork capabilities will guarantee your success. This role requires fluent Finnish and English language skills. Preferably you have worked in an international business environment and used English as working language.
The following skills are regarded as benefits: hydraulics and hydraulics simulation/calculation, CFD-simulation, mechatronics, knowledge of different CAD-systems (NX, Creo), Teamcenter and FEM-analysis with ANSYS or similar.
