We are looking for an
SAP System Administrator
to join our IT team in Vantaa, Finland.

Your role
Your main responsibility will be maintaining and administrating the SAP ERP system. You will be part of the IT Infrastructure, ERP, Data & Analytics team. You will also be part of the Suunto ERP Solution Team, which is responsible for developing, administering, and updating the ERP system.
Main responsibilities include:

Executing and scheduling tasks and processes in the Production environment.
Views open tasks (tickets), processes, data flows, and datastore connections related to SAP
Monitoring running and finished tasks and processes.
Managing the registration of Data Services Agent instances.
Creating or modifying datastore connection information in the Production environment.
Promoting tasks and processes between environments, for example from Sandbox to Production
Creating, activating, and deleting users.
Assigning roles to users.
Views security logs related to SAP system.
Creating and modifying tasks, processes, data flows, and datastore connections.

What makes you successful in the role?
As SAP administrators spend a major portion of their time communicating with higher management, clients, end users and managers, it is important that they have good communication skills for easy and effective communication with others. Good listening skills will help SAP Basis professional accurately understand and process complex business requirements. To be successful in this role you should enjoy working in a global organization and a fast-moving environment. You enjoy working in a team, but you can also work independently.
In this role you are required to be proficient in software troubleshooting practices to help them diagnose issues and provide appropriate resolutions. You are also required to be proficient in performing SAP upgrades, installations and maintenance-related tasks. You are expected to have an end-user focused approach during the implementation of various process improvements. You may also be involved in documentation, and related experience may be helpful.
As an SAP administrator, one does not need be an expert with every administrative activity in SAP Basis. Strong expertise with selected skills can help one make significant progress in a career in SAP.
You should have the experience, skills and qualification:

Ideally 3-5 years’ experience with SAP tools like SAP Net Weaver, SAP Solution Manager 7.2 or above.
Experience with SAP technical components, SAP cloud platform, Net Weaver, SAP business object and other SAP technical components is also considered valuable in this profession.
JAVA system administration and ABAP programming experience is highly recommended for SAP admins.
A moderate level of infrastructure-related knowledge, such as hardware, data centres, network, VM, OS, Cloud etc., is essential.

A valid work permit for Finland is a requirement for the role.
