We are looking for a Site Manager for Energy Engine Power Plant worksites. The main responsibilities include managing a newly built project site abroad. The preferred location for this position is Finland.

As a Site Manager, your work will include but is not limited to the tasks and duties as per the list below. You will be working as a leader for the construction site. The Project team is supporting the site work from the home office.

Your role as a Site Manager:

• Plan, lead and manage project site execution
• Build and maintain good customer relationships
• Lead the Wärtsilä team at the site
• Accountable for project construction management

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare site mobilization and execution plans
• Manage site administration, organization, and resource plans
• Ensure local laws and regulations are followed
• Highlight the economical construction and cost-saving working procedures
• Participate in subcontracting and local purchases
• Safeguard compliance with Quality and HSSE policies and minimize risks at site execution
• Ensure quality control at the site
• Manage project handovers to customers and site demobilization activities

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil)
• Previous experience in similar duties abroad
• Management studies are considered a benefit, please describe the studies in your application
• Fluency in English, please include other language skills and the level of the skills in your application
• Readiness to work abroad over 250 days per year
