Your Role
Role puprose:
The LCT manager position is a key position in the TN&H Sustainability team. It is required to answer climate stakes and the increasing demand of our customers on low carbon solutions.
This position will be in direct report to the TN&H Sustainability Director and collaborates with a large landscape of stakeholders ( GKA Managers, Supply chain, Industrial, Environment Managers, Procurement, Agronomy, R&T) from Corporate to site level.
Flexible work location : Clichy (France), Holzminden (Germany), Marlow (United Kingdom)
Missions:

• Define, steer, execute and coordinate the low carbon transition program for TN&H in order to reach our target to minimize the environmental footprint on the 3 scopes and to create value for our customers with low carbon solution.
• Set relevant global and local KPIs according to the TN&H Sustainability roadmap.
• Be in charge of the GHG data reporting.
• Give valuabe insight to feed the TN&H roadmap according to competitor benchmark, stakeholder insight like customers or regulations.
• Bring the expertise, animate the network and support the local contacts.
• Implement training programs if necessary.
• Participate to Symrise workshops with Corporate and other divisions.
• Responsible for development and implementation of methodologies for life cycle assessment and carbon footprint assessment and ensuring their consistent use within the organization.
• Answer customer demands in terms of methodology and strategy.
• People Management : the PCF manager and the Environmental Officer.
• Coordinate the activities of the cross-divisional GHG data management team of TN&H and ensure consistency within the team and with the other departments.

About You

• Environmental engineer in industry, food industry would be a plus with an experience in reducing the 3 scopes.
• At least 5 years of technical and practical experience in Life Cycle and Carbon Footprint Assessment, SBTi, ACT and CDP reporting.
• Very good expertise in climate stakes.
• Energy purchasing knowledge would be a plus.
• Very good project management and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English. French will be an advantage.
• First experience in team management would be an advantage.
• Good team player and business orientation (internal and external clients).
• Flexiblity to adapt to changes.
• Travel 10% maximum.
