Your responsibilities
The Ph D scholarships are part of the DAAD GSSP (Graduate School Scholarship Program) 2024 (see also https://www.daad.de/en/information-services-for-higher-education-institutions/further-information-on-daad-programmes/gssp/).
In a first step the Graduate School nominates excellent eligible candidates for the Ph D Scholarship for the DAAD.
The nominates candidates have to upload their documents to the DAAD.
Two of the nominated candidates are then awarded with a Ph D scholarship by the DAAD.

For the selection process of the Graduate School the following documents are to be submitted:
  • a curriculum vitae
  • a letter of motivation where you express preferences for one of the research topics
  • Bachelor’s and master’s degree certificates and certificates of annual examinations taken at the home university (transcript of records) including grades and explaining the home university’s grading system (explanation of grading system)
  • documents certifying knowledge of the English language
  • a list of publications (optional)
