Truck Driver
Duties:
- Operate a double bin transport, roll-off truck, "rocket launcher".
- Hauling loads of trash to local disposal facilities.
-Caltrans homeless encampment cleanup contract for Santa Clara County.
- Safely transport materials and equipment to designated locations, following established routes.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and logbooks, are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or similar heavy equipment.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to truck driving.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading materials.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
