Your impact and responsibilities

As Financial Controller - Germany you will:

• Perform the financial administration of our German subsidiary.
• Own all aspects of the monthly closing and reporting.
• Support the German sales team with Finance related matters.
• Assist the Group Finance team with system improvements.
• Integrate a newly acquired business into the existing German subsidiary.
• Support the German country leads with corporate compliance related matters.
• Support the local tax advisor with monthly VAT submissions and yearly CIT and statutory compliance.
• In this role you will work closely together with: the Group Finance team based in Amsterdam; the German Sales Director, the German Head of Services; other German support team members and you will be the first point of contact for external parties: bank, suppliers, payroll provider, tax advisor.

Your team

You will be part of the Group Finance team. At the Finance team we have the mission to help enable the LOGEX business groups to fulfil the mission of LOGEX by making better data-informed decisions based on accurate, complete and timely financial information. The Finance team is responsible for financial reporting, financial controlling, planning and analysis. This role is for a Financial Controller that has several years of experience in a similar role that is looking for an independent role as Financial Controller of our rapidly growing German subsidiary. You will play a vital role in supporting the local operational team and the LOGEX Group Finance Team. You will report to the Head of Financial Controlling at Group level.

Your profile

• BSc degree in Finance
• Structured way of working with an eye for details
• Team player who acts on their own initiative and is comfortable taking on responsibility
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Available for 32 - 40 hours per week
• Desire to be part of a fast-moving, growing business that provides solutions to important healthcare challenges, where one has the opportunity to contribute to the financial processes
