We have a fantastic opportunity in our Finance Team based in Oberhausen, Germany. This is a challenging role in which you will ensure consistent and reliable reporting. Perform ad hoc reports for the management while acting as a business partner and point of contact for plant managers. (Oberhausen, Montoir and Abbeville)
You will ensure compliance of business operations with company policies and best practices. Delivering timely and high-quality reliable product cost calculation results to support the Industrial activities and assist CPA's on calculation matters to close the gap between Standard Costs and Actual Cost
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage monthly reporting for Calderys Metalcasting Germany and France MA/SCF (P&L, Variances, FOCF). Manage monthly communication with plants / Hub managers
- Follow up main cost drivers (material, energy and fixed costs)
- Support inventory countings and improve the process in order to increase inventory accuracy
- Perform reliable profitability analysis to identify levers of improvement (Customer Report)
- Provide financial data (standard costs, production costs, etc) and ad hoc invoice information, quantity produced when required)
- Implement and manage Overheads Reporting
- Manage the actual / standard cost calculation process for statutory accounting MA/SCF
- Determine accruals to be booked in ERP
- Capex monitoring, OWC follow up
- Design formalize internal control procedure for stock (general ledger, inventory counting….)
- Build Site level Budget & Forecast
- Contribute to design efficient processes and tools to deliver timely high quality reliable reporting
- Follow up of I3 & Cross functional savings
- Strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail,
- Successful candidate Is practical and drives simple, standard and efficient processes, strong mindset for continuous improvement
- Team player
- Highly organized with prioritization skills
- Demonstrate excellence in business analytics and tolls
- Knowledge of SAP CO/FI, Magnitude, Analytics, MS office / Google Suite applications and BI skills (advanced)
- Fluent English skills both written and spoken
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 5 -10 years of professional experience with financial/accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience working with reporting in a complex and dynamic organisation
