It is a global and expanding environment in the fashion industry where you could develop your professional career, we are looking for a person with the following profile
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing and preparing the punctual submission of VAT tax returns and all related compliance processes for various entities of the group.
- Managing internal VAT compliance monitoring and tax reporting tools
- Elaborating tax research for internal requests and advisory assignments
- Reviewing tax assessments and assisting in drafting documents and communication with the tax offices, if needed
- Engaging regularly with different stakeholders for VAT related projects and taxation advisors
- Conducting VAT calculations and establishing tax positions
- Proactively acquiring proficiency in tax activities beyond compliance
- Assisting in drafting and finalizing transfer pricing related documentation. Give professional advice for the international VAT
- Analyzing and interpreting tax laws and regulations
- Preparing and analyzing indirect tax returns
- Maintaining legal and regulatory compliance
- Ad hoc tasks related to Direct & Indirect tax, TP, and other Tax related matters
- Bachelor’s degree in law or in Business and a master’s degree in tax law
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in an International Tax environment
- Preferably having worked in the VAT and tax return practice of a large tax consultancy firm or relevant law firm
- Demonstrating a genuine interest of growing as a tax specialist.
- Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English Spanish, English and German mandatory.
- Knowledge of national and international tax law
- Knowledge of withholding tax and transfer pricing will be a plus.
- Positive and curious attitude
- Strong communication skills in contact with global teams and tax authorities if needed.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and committed
- Excellent time manager
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict deadlines.
