JOB DESCRIPTION

GROUP ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Group of Companies with manufacturing activities and subsidiaries outside Greece, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, seeks to hire an Accounting Supervisor. This full time position, reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities

Supervision and reconciliation of the proper accounting logging of all General Ledger, Vendors & Customers, Fixed Assets and Warehouse books.

Supervision of the all the accounting, mid-year and year-end, closing processes.

Position Requirements

University Degree in Accounting or in Economics related field.

A’ Class Accounting License.

Minimum of 5 years related experience.

Excellent knowledge of Accounting Bookkeeping, International Financial Reporting and Greek Accounting Standards.

Very good knowledge of VAT and Income Tax legislation.

Excellent knowledge of ERP systems. Working experience of Softone ERP will be considered an additional asset.

Ability to gather, plan and organize information for the Accounting Department, working in close cooperation with all the business-related units, meeting strict deadlines and excellent communication skills.

Very good command of English.
