Insolvency Business Analyst

We are currently seeking for enthusiastic team players with exceptional analytical skills and well-rounded personality to become part of our dynamic and highly motivating Financial Advisory Team in Athens. Our Insolvency-Restructuring team is specialized in managing insolvency processes, preparing reports, and communicating with debt management companies and stakeholders, providing in-depth business and financial advisory services to companies, their creditors, their insolvency trustees, bank syndicates and other interested parties in bankruptcy process.


Your role as a Business Analyst will focus on the delivery of client engagements, by understanding objectives for clients and Deloitte, aligning your own work to objectives and setting personal priorities, teaming with others across businesses and borders and taking accountability for own and team results. In this role, you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills in order to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth, you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values in order to put these into practice in your professional life.


During your tenure as a Business Analyst you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

• 
  Apply high-level understanding of various insolvency/bankruptcy processes to draft progress reports, set up internal trading schedules/models, and deal with creditor claims and disputes
• Select appropriate methods for collecting, analyzing data and presenting, such as to participate in an inventory, create a teaser, manage a VDR for presenting them to a prospective investor
• Support insolvency trustee, in daily operations
• Apply financial knowledge to understand financial statements
• Produce a high quality work product and collaborate with others to deliver a superior client experience
• Manage own work in an ethical manner with a continuous attention to quality and risk rules, and confidentiality
• Anticipate emerging threats through the use of market-leading technology to uncover possibilities that others may fail to find
• Analyze business financials to improve client’s liquidity, credit availability, and shareholder’s return
• Perform modeling and analysis to support strategic operational and financial improvement initiatives
• Perform reconciliation for the list of creditors

#Winning Requirements

• 
  Up to 1 years of relevant work experience preferably within an International professional services firm or Bank
• University Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines
• Excellent command of the English & Greek language
• Computer Literacy, excellent user of Excel and Power Point
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
• Postgraduate Degree (MSc. or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration from a prominent University would be an asset
• Professional Certifications, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) or similar will be considered an asset
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable

• Valuation and Modelling: we provides well-reasoned valuations and advice understanding how to quantify and present valuation analyses and conclusions in concert with prevailing accounting, tax, and regulatory codes, for transaction, financing, litigation, strategic management, and compliance purposes
• Business Advisory: new service aimed to enlarge the FA offering through the integration of financial and business dimensions
