Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking for an experienced and result oriented Plant HR Manager to join our HR team in Xanthi. The role is responsible for all HR functions of a specific business area, implementing effective HR strategies and activities within the organization, supporting the business to achieve continuous optimization.
The position reports directly to the Plants Senior HR Manager.
Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking for an experienced and result oriented Plant HR Manager to join our HR team in Xanthi. The role is responsible for all HR functions of a specific business area, implementing effective HR strategies and activities within the organization, supporting the business to achieve continuous optimization.
The position reports directly to the Plants Senior HR Manager.
- Maintaining daily presence in the area of responsibility to gain a thorough understanding of the operation and provide expertise on all HR-related topics.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives, with a focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Bring to being a solid recruitment process for top results in terms of number and quality of human resources.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, as well as managing employee relations, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns, conducting disciplinary actions and terminations as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including personnel files, grading system, benefits enrollment, and training records.
- Communicating HR policies and procedures to employees through various channels.
- Analyzing HR metrics and collaborating with the Operations Management team to increase productivity, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conducting analysis of employees' needs and skills, managing internal transfers and promotions, and enhancing employee motivation.
- Serving as the liaison between employees, HR, and Operations Management to provide quick and effective solutions to all stakeholders and resolve HR issues.
- Collaborating with management to identify training needs and develop training programs.
- Contributing to the establishment and continuous improvement of high health, safety, and security standards for employees.
- Developing and managing budgets for HR-related activities and expenses.
- AEI degree in HR / Finance / Business Administration / Engineering. Postgraduate studies is a must.
- >8 years of working experience in HR, mainly in industrial environments.
- Excellent MS Office knowledge and fluency in Greek and English are a must.
- Sound knowledge of the Greek Labor Law.
- Ability to work independently and effectively, to understand business functions and organization needs of an industrial environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and time management skills.
- Strong multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
