What to expect
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving corporate sales for the hotel, supporting the achievement of revenue and market share targets according to the company’s standards and goals.
Primary responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and emails related to Leisure/Corporate Group inquiries, ensuring all leads are promptly addressed.
- Assess client needs and the competitive landscape before sending proposals.
- Analyze group requests, check availability, block rooms/space, and prepare/send quotations to local & international travel agents.
- Manage group room blocks, contracts, rooming lists, and event requirements in PMS and other platforms.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of the Group log and track all leads and payments.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, corporate accounts, and partners to ensure repeat business.
- Participate in departmental briefings, sales activities, and other requested actions.
- Support the Sales Department with correspondence, quotations, follow-ups, and phone call responses.
- Attend and support hotel visits, trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales-related documentation.
- Perform other sales-related activities as required by the company.
- Higher Education Degree.
- Full knowledge of English (knowledge of additional language will be appreciated).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Previous experience as sales agent or relevant role.
- Experience with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Protel, Fidelio) and CRM systems.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients and bookings simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness.
