Within the Asset Management Division, we are looking for a Surveyor to strengthen our team in North Greece O&M Center, located in Nea Mesimvria . Your call will be to carry out topographical and geotechnical measurements in the Pipeline Management Zone (PMZ) and the Company’s installations, as well as to contribute in managing issues related to maintenance contractors and inspections in accordance with the relevant approved procedures and requirements of the Health and Safety Management System. Your tasks will indicatively include:

Contribute to the coordination and check the maintenance contractor safety works along the NG Pipeline.

Cooperate with public authorities and other businesses on issues concerning the PMZ, evaluate relevant data and draft reports.

Inform the owners about the rights of the pipeline in the different zones according to the applicable legislation.

Prepare and review procedures, instructions and manuals related to the PMZ, update the "as build" documents.

Be informed with regard to the specifications, standards and codes related to the installation and operation of Natural Gas pipelines and equipment.

Perform maintenance work on NGP labeling equipment.

Carry out patrols (on vehicle & on foot) along the NG Zone for the safety of the NNGTS and participate in air patrols when necessary.

Receive geotechnical measurement data with the use of special equipment in the special surveillance areas, including declinometric measurements, groundwater level measurements in boreholes and measurements of strain gauges.

Monitor, when deemed necessary, third party works (for security issues) within the active Natural Gas facilities & NG Zone as well as along networks of companies that cooperate with DESFA.

Inspect the management of NG Zone involvement with third party properties and indicate the location of the pipeline according to the provisions of the relevant Official Government Gazette.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying Engineering or other similar technical area.

Experience in network routing with knowledge of soil mechanics is a plus.

Residency in the wider area of Thessaloniki.

Knowledge of digital Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Very good use and command of the English language.

Very good use of MS Office.

Knowledge of Auto CAD.

Driving license (type B).

For male candidates, completion of military obligations.
