KMOP, founded in 1977 in Greece, is a leading civil society organization dedicated to providing social support services and designing and implementing various initiatives that empower and enhance the well-being of individuals and communities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Unit Coordinator who will coordinate one of KMOP’s areas of activities, leading the respective Unit’s management, implementation, and growth. He/She will supervise the work of the Unit team (hybrid environment), and ensure its smooth operation while working closely with proposal writers to develop new project proposals.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the Unit’s growth, development and organisation in terms of projects, staff, processes and knowledge
• Mentor and inspire the team
• Assign projects and/or tasks to team members, monitor workloads, follow up on timely implementation and report
• Ensure project implementation as per KMOP’s and Donors’ requirements
• Supervise and support project managers, project officers and researchers in developing deliverables or implementing activities and ensure quality
• Measure and analyse projects’ success, impact and efficient allocation of resources during and after implementation
• Represent KMOP, establish and maintain relationships with partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders

The Unit Coordinator:

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards as per organizational policies
• Adhere to the organization’s Code of Ethics for integrity in all procurement activities
• Refers to the Head of Programs of the organization

REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:

• Academic background in one of KMOP’s work / social impact areas. Interdisciplinarity is preferred
• At least 2 years of working experience leading a team or supervising the work of others
• Work experience in the context of EU/international collaborative project teams
• Very strong oral and written communication skills in English and Greek
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong sense of ownership, ability to take initiative and creatively tackle problems.
• Already well-familiar or eager to become an expert in EU funding programs, project design/management, methodologies and tools

Considered Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Proficiency in a second foreign language
