Assistant Engineer, Electrical & Mechanical
CONTRACT

Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering solution for the design, implementation and contract management for system enhancement, alternation and improvement works
- Prepare tender documents for the maintenance, refurbishment and procurement contracts for electrical and/or mechanical facilities, prepare reports and assist in budgeting
- Assist in providing technical solutions and advices on E&M matters related to maintenance, refurbishment, alternation and improvement works in the airport for the electrical and/or mechanical facilities
- Assist in management of refurbishment, alternation and improvement projects, coordinate with both internal and external parties to ensure works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations and completed on time
- Supervise the maintenance and/or installation of the electrical and/or mechanical facilities in the airport and ensure new installations are in compliance with the latest design codes and practice, the Authority’s requirements and relevant statutory requirements
- Collate and analyze the operation and maintenance records for improvement and keep abreast of the industry and statutory development
- Prepare progress reports and report to Civil Aviation Department (CAD) and relevant external parties
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 3 years' relevant working experience in design, construction or project management of electrical or electronic engineering related industry
- Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, analytical and organizing skills
- Proactive, service-oriented and able to work independently
- Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
