Assistant Manager, Airfield
CONTRACT

Responsibilities:
- Support the strategy diversity and perform airfield contract management tasks
- Conduct audits and monitor the performance of construction contractors
- Oversee and monitor the work progress of the enhancement project and ensure the apron area surrounding the construction site is free of foreign object
- Perform daily inspection of the construction site to ensure the work is being carried out according to the approved project timelines and requirements
- Liaise with the construction contractor to address any issues or concerns that arise during the project and document all discussions and decisions
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the project, including progress reports, inspection checklists and work photos
- Collaborate with the operation team to ensure a smooth transition and handover in order to minimize the impact on the airport community
- Assist duty team for updating Airfield operation manuals, standard operating procedure, training programs, and materials
Requirements:
- Degree holder with minimum 6 years' solid airfield operations and management experience
- Professional qualifications in aviation (i.e. apron operations, airfield operations) are an advantage
- Conversant with airfield typology and having experience in operating Very High Frequency (VHF) in communication with Air Traffic Control (ATC) will be an advantage
- Good analytical, articulation, problem-solving, negotiation and presentation skills
- Be innovative and dynamic
- A good team player. Good communication and people management skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Proficient computer skills especially in Microsoft Office
- Possess valid driving license will be an advantage
