Assistant Manager, Group Reporting

Description:

Manage the analysis of financial performances and financial positions under IFRS / Solvency II Pillar III basis for both Life & General Insurance
Prepare presentation materials for financial performances and financial positions and present to senior management and Head Office
Manage the submission for profitability, balance sheets and other financial related schedules in accordance with the Group requirement and timetable
Manage the CFO sign-off process for both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III basis
Manage annual audit and interim review
Manage actual, budget and forecast process
Streamline the reporting preparation process of both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III basis
Participate in other ad hoc special projects and provide technical accounting support as required

Qualifications:

Certified or chartered accountant, or associate or fellow of recognized actuarial professional bodies is preferred
4 years’ working experience, experience in finance function or insurance industry is preferred but not a must
Advantage if some of the experience gained from Big 4
Solid knowledge in IFRS, with knowledge in IFRS 17 - Insurance contract and IFRS 9 – Financial Instruments is preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills with fluent English and Chinese
Good analytical skills
Strong planning, organization and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Experience/knowledge in Solvency II Pillar III reporting / IFRS 9 & 17/ Life or General Insurance would be an advantage
