Medora is a casual dining restaurant led by Chef Vicky Cheng, the Michelin-starred chef-owner of VEA and WING. True to its name, the concept draws inspiration from his family, featuring dishes designed for sharing, with the aim of creating the perfect setting for all types of gatherings.

We are excited to announce the opening of our new restaurant MEDORA, LIZ & TORI in October 2024. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Captain to assist the manager in leading all aspects of our business to deliver a high-quality and unique dining experience and advance your career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
Assist the manager in overseeing the front-of-house operations to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

Responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. This entails answering calls and fielding them accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs, and providing an overall welcoming environment.

Ensure high standards for food quality and service, and address customer complaints professionally.

Maintain inventory and ensure proper stock level rotation to minimize waste.

Supervise to ensure every staff follows restaurant policies and procedures.

Comply and follow the strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience of floor and reception duties in a restaurant.

F.7 or Diploma holder of Hospitality management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, able to communicate effectively to successfully defuse tense situations.

Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.

Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Hong Kong resident only.
