Selected candidates will be responsible for 24x7 shift operation duties of the data centres

Responsibilities:
Perform 24 x 7 shift duties in data centres

Operate data center facilities, monitor their performance, troubleshoot issues, and take

corrective or recovery actions

Assist in handling Helpdesk activities, including problem reporting, incident handling, and message dissemination

Perform access control for visitors of data centre by verifying their authorization in the access control system

Monitor the physical security in data centre by means of digital video recording system and perform routine physical security checking and take corrective or preventive actions as appropriate

Monitor the availability and performance of environmental facilities in data centre and take corrective or preventive actions as appropriate in accordance with incident and problem management procedures

Prepare data centre facilities maintenance schedule; monitor progress; take rectifying/recovery action in case of exception

Assist site preparation work

Assist maintenance of records and documentation, compilation of management statistics and reports

Escort and monitor any other personnel working in the data centres

Requirement:
Provision of support services to terminal network users

Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
