Overview of the Role
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our Predictive Analytics (PA) Operating Unit (OU) team to support research, customer success and business development in the APAC and Middle East region. As the expert in our analytical solutions, including credit risk, ESG and climate risk, the candidate will represent Predictive Analytics’ risk modelling expertise in the region, working with teams across and outside of our OU as well as local sales team.
The candidate will be involved in our research innovations and local client-facing activities that include technical aspects to maintain high level of value perceived in our products. These include planning and developing content for thought leadership and sales enablement in the region, promoting our solutions in local webinars, events, research papers and case studies.

Responsibilities

• Work with PA Research and Modelling team to lead the design of research innovations for a wide range of analytical solutions using state-of-the-art traditional and advanced machine learning methodologies.
• Serve as the region’s subject matter expert for PA analytical solutions to develop strong relationship of advocacy and trust with local customers.
• Deliver presentations for various internal and external audiences and lead the thought-leadership content for the Greater China region to demonstrate the value and application of our analytical solutions.
• Follow modern methods of the intersection of ML, econometrics and statistics, and industry best practices for risk modelling.
• Partner closely with Sales teams and Account Development team on efforts related to client retention and expansion of business opportunities with existing customers.
• Lead the analytical support for product strategy decisions in the Greater China region such as product localization efforts and data exploration for regional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background - A Ph.D. or MS degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or other relevant field
• Proven track record of managing and growing customer relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and reducing churn.
• Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and effectively manage cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical content clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience in creating and delivering presentations to a diverse range of audiences.
• Proven expertise in leading risk model design using Machine Learning and/or econometric modeling techniques working with large datasets from multiple sources and vendors.
• Advanced programming skills in R, Python and/or SAS.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
