Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Legal to handle day-to-day legal duties in relation to the businesses of the Group
- Design, implement, maintain and update the policies, guidelines, manuals and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations across the Group.
- Conduct research on legal issues arising out of business operations and provide legal support to business units
- Draft and review and provide comments on wide range of legal documentation in corporate finance, loan transactions, debt restructuring, bonds and notes issuance and funds investment and management ,
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations (including listing rules and SFO) and industry standards in all transactions
- Handle ad hoc projects and legal tasks assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Qualified Hong Kong solicitor with good credentials of 2 to 5 years PQE
- Experience in securities, banking and corporate finance sector is preferred
- Past experience in legal department of financial institutions is preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
