You can take part in the development and maintenance of one of our products, weight & balance solution, which is helping airlines to reduce fuel costs and optimizing payload while simultaneously boosting load controllers’ productivity and optimizing loading/unloading process.
Your responsibilities will include

• Keeping contact and cooperating with teams located in Hungary and in Germany, ensure smooth and intense communication with colleagues and partners
• Writing software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval
• Designing, implementing and testing new functionalities
• Developing application components using Java EE technologies and design principles
• Analysis of customer problems and requests
• Maintaining the current system

We are looking for you, if you have

• Practical experience in design and development of Java applications (at least 3 years)
• Experience in one or more Java frameworks (Hibernate, etc.)
• JEE components and API or Spring knowledge (esp. Io C container, Beans)
• Experiences with application servers (e.g. JBoss EAP/AS/Wildfly)
• Knowledge of Maven, Git, Git Hub
• Familiarity with JIRA or any other defect tracking system
• Good knowledge of English and Hungarian both spoken and written

It can be an advantage if you have

• Practical experience in design and development of Java EE applications
• Interest or even professional experience in the Dev Ops field
• Ansible, YAML, Docker
• Developing/maintaining experience with CI/CD pipelines and environment setup
• Experience in scripting and automation skills (like ansible, bash)
• Familiarity with MS Azure or any other cloud platform
• Experience in Jenkins and Linux
• Interest in other programming languages like Scala or Java Script
