Ford Central and Eastern European Sales LLC is looking for a
Europe Finance Lead – Ford Business Solutions (FBS)
to join us in our Budapest location.
We're looking for a seasoned Finance professional to play a crucial role in our FBS Europe operations. This is your chance to be part of a team that drives financial excellence and supports global initiatives.
As a Finance Lead for FBS Europe, you will be at the heart of our financial consolidation and reporting activities for Hungary and Romania. You will lead strategic financial initiatives, support senior leadership in key decision-making processes, and drive efficiencies across our operations.

You have a professional qualification in Finance, Business, Economics
You have a minimum of 9 years of experience in finance, with exposure to analytical roles and accounting.
You have experience in leading a team (can be an advantage)
You have strong leadership abilities, excellent analytical skills, and the capacity to drive strategic financial initiatives.
You communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively both spoken and written and have negotiation skills .

Location : Budapest, Váci Greens (with occasional days in our Szentendre office)

The key responsibilities will include and not be restricted to the following:
• Finance business partner for FBS Europe center lead (LL4)
• Lead for FBS Europe strategy and support global leadership on management discussions
• Track the productivity and billability metrics and drive for efficiencies
• Develop Business Plan and Annual Budget for FBS Europe
• Monthly Forecast, Actuals - consolidation and corporate reporting
• Manage the FBS Income statement – ensure effective revenue management including timely/robust billings and cost management
• Establish the billing model (Co E / Head to Head / Lumpsum), frequency, alignment with Bill To regions for FBS Europe
• Challenge the cost line items – personnel, overheads, maintenance, travel, training etc.
• Deliver Yo Y efficiency targets across skill teams
• Ensure statutory compliance including robust accounting as per global / local accounting standards
• FBS asset management including FBS unique investments/ infrastructure, company serviced vehicles and IT assets maintenance budgets and disposals
• Ensure tax compliance – support filing for applicable tax credits, tax audit and transfer price requirements
• Ensure robust accounting including accruals and reconciliations for FBS Europe
• Lead cashflow reviews and support senior leadership with key cash management decisions and proposals
• Effective leadership and stakeholder management by being the SPOC for all skill teams on billing and FBS center related queries/issues
• Supervise a GSR resource based in Bucharest (Romania)
• Lead and motivate the team effectively, nurture talent, influence positively to deliver results through assignments with high demand on time and quality
• Work closely with other FBS centers in India and Mexico on global initiatives (process improvement, waste elimination, automation, etc.)
• Supervisory experience is a plus
