As a leading brand in quality cultivation, we focus on B2B dealings, catering to resorts, restaurants, and other commercial establishments. Our goal is to expand our reach by entering retail markets through strategic partnerships with distributors and direct sales to retail outlets.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Agriculture Sales Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales of our fresh agricultural produce to new and existing clients, including resorts, restaurants, and retail stores. This role involves identifying and securing distributors in various locations, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. The candidate should be innovative and capable of devising new strategies for market penetration and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and approach potential distributors and retail outlets to establish and expand market presence for OG Farms India’s produce.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with resorts, restaurants, and retail stores to secure and grow business.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and drive growth in both B2B and retail markets.
- Product Presentation: Effectively present and demonstrate the quality and benefits of our fresh produce to potential clients.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close deals with distributors and retail outlets to ensure optimal sales performance.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and client feedback to the management team.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or food industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the agriculture industry, particularly fresh produce, and B2B sales processes.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Innovation: Creative approach to sales and problem-solving, with a knack for developing new strategies for market penetration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Location: Ability to travel within the assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
- Base Salary: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
- Commission: Performance-based commissions on sales achieved.
- Bonus: Additional bonuses for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
