Plexconcil has an opening for the post of Assistant Director – Research and Development at its head office in Mumbai.
The Plastics Export Promotion Council (Plexconcil) is an autonomous institution operating under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India.
Job profile:
· Conducting research, surveys and analyses.
· Contributing to research on national and international trading models that drive the construction of high frequency trading strategies.
· Authorship of reports, articles and opinion pieces
· Researching relevant market news and content for all market segments
· Research, Analysis and reporting on current bilateral trade.
· Regular analysis and reporting of data and statistics on the Plastic sector.
· Analysis of opportunities and risks in priority overseas markets for the Plastic sector.
· Research and analysis to make recommendations on strategy for senior management to promote exports of Plastic trade.
· Knowledge of the International Trading frameworks and institutions as well as Indian government systems.
· Create presentations with charts and graphs to present to higher-ups and management
· To conduct bilateral trade analysis
· To compile inputs for negotiations on various trade agreements.
Educational qualification
The candidate should be a postgraduate with specialisation in International Trade/ Economics; and should possess a minimum 10 years of work experience. He / she should be proficient in the use of computers.
Postgraduate from IIFT, Delhi will be preferred.
Salary will be as per industry norms and according to eligibility. Applicants should be minimum of 40 years and maximum of 50 years.
