The ideal candidate will leverage their data analytics skills to support change initiatives lead by the Global investment Business Change team, while also engaging operationally to ensure successful implementation. This dual-focused role demands a blend of appetite for analyzing and rendering data into an user friendly format as well as hands-on involvement in change processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis to support Investment change

• Utilize large datasets to extract, clean, and analyze investment-related information to support decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain complex Excel models and tools to streamline data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Write efficient VBA scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enhance data processing capabilities.

Project Management / Change Initiatives Operational support

• Actively contribute to the team change initiatives and global projects by structuring data findings and providing actionable recommendations.
• Work closely with management to understand project /change objectives and deliver insight within specified time constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.

Team reporting

• Act as the point person for maintaining and updating the team change dashboard to track progress and performance of change initiatives.
• Create insightful visualizations using Power BI to communicate key findings and trends effectively.

Data interpretation

• Interpret analysis results and provide clear, concise summaries to stakeholders, including investment managers and executives.

Continuous improvement

• Continually look to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of change activities across Investments
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and investment management.

Processes and Procedures

• Maintain and update any policy and procedure documents as required.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and coding, with a focus on VBA and the Microsoft Suite.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with multiple teams and individuals at various levels. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of organization with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Task oriented with a focus on deadlines and follow ups.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge/experience -
• Proven experience in investment or asset management, with an understanding of financial markets and products.
• Knowledge of coding and data science will be advantage.
• Previous exposure to Aladdin or similar investment management platforms is desirable.
